TYCE Golf was founded by Class A PGA professionals, Chris Cissel and Chris Humble, who together bring more than 50 years of hands-on experience in the golf industry.
Their backgrounds span the successful management of both small public courses and large private country clubs along the East Coast. Through years of hands-on work with golf car fleet sales and rentals throughout the Carolinas, they developed strong relationships with club owners and recognized a growing need for experienced operational support. This insight inspired them to create TYCE Golf, offering the leadership and management services needed to help smaller clubs strengthen their operations and achieve sustainable growth.

Chris Cissel’s journey in golf began at just four years old when his father handed him his first set of clubs. By age twelve, he was already working in outside operations as a cart attendant, beginning a lifelong career dedicated to the game and the business of golf.
Over the years, Chris advanced through nearly every role in golf operations—from Assistant Professional to Director of Golf, and ultimately General Manager, overseeing as many as five clubs simultaneously. His well-rounded experience extends beyond the golf shop, encompassing golf course maintenance and food and beverage operations, giving him a complete understanding of what it takes to run a successful facility.
Chris attributes his success not only to decades of hands-on experience but also to the lessons learned through trial and error. Each success, and each failure, has shaped his approach and sharpened his ability to manage, grow, and sustain high-performing golf course properties.
Chris Humble’s passion for the golf industry runs deep. It started at Walnut Woods playing his first round of golf with his father. This led to the journey through the Professional Golf Management program at NC State University, starting a long career in serving people.
Over the past decade, working closely with Yamaha Golf Car Company, Chris built strong relationships with golf course owners, pros, and dealers. His expertise spans from golf car sales to service and beyond.
The reason TYCE Golf was created is to be the culmination of that passion and knowledge throughout the golf industry. His dedication to ensuring every golf car sale, every service, and every after-care experience reflects that same love for the game. TYCE Golf isn’t just a business—it’s his way of giving back to the sport that’s given Chris so much.
